124 BSOD from what I've experienced is never DRAM Voltage, it's usually vcore.

101 could be VTT or VCORE.

It's really easy to overclock these SB-E chips Void-Ray, specially since you have an 3930k, just use VTT at 1.150v (2nd VTT at AUTO) and VCCSA at 1.150v as well, that's what I use for overclocking my 3930k to 4.5, 4.6, and 4.8.

From there it's just a matter of figuring how much vcore it needs to be stable. thumb.gif

thank you sir that helped alot and i was just looking for a way to determine if i need to increase my VTT or VCCSA cuz i was wondering how other ppl here can know when to increase it but i will keep your advice and do it so thank you sir smile.gif just why i dont see a REP+ button for your post? O_o i kinda dont like my chip i use offset mode it will be running 1.368v - 1.372v in normal load and it needs 1.384v -1.390v on vcore to be stable on prime95 and to get this kind of vcore i had to set vcore llc on high and im not sure even if thats a stupid overclock or a good or an average one confused.gif

It's common, I also use LLC on High to achieve a proper voltage without a much variance of volts.

You can't see +REP because I'm Staff member. tongue.gif

ahuh thank you again sir smile.gif
lol i see so THANKS+ for you sir biggrin.gif
and just one more thing is it normal for my VTT and VCCSA to go higher than i've set it? i have them on around 1.11 now and still i can see HWiNFO is reporting min at 1.103 and max at 1.3 and for VCCSA min at 1.09 and max at 1.4 so is it normal? thanks again

Hey fella glad I helped you out with your o/c thumb.gif That depends if you have VCCSA Load line calibration and the setting it is on in your digi + power settings in your bios for example............ That might help you out thumb.gif

I need some help with my overclock. Currently running 4.5GHz with LLC on Medium and negative Offset (-0.040) to achieve ~1.29v.

The problem is for the last day I've been getting random BSOD's, all of them on idle, or playing Fifa 13 which is a very easy game to run, not demanding game at all, so probably the CPU is also idling with Fifa 13.

Any ideas on what I should do? I remember with my old 2600k I'd just change LLC down, but should I lower it to Regular? Or bump it to High?

If it helps, here are the voltages I'm running:

VTT: 1.155v
2nd VTT: Auto
VCCSA: 1.155v
CPU PLL: 1.55v

This overclock is 100% stable under heavy load/stress (Prime 95 on 1792k FFT's and Folding@Home), why is it happening? It was working just fine for a few days. doh.gif

Edit:

Forgot to say, it is BSOD's ending in 101.
