Since a few days I have been the owner of a 3930K Sandy Bridge-E cpu and I am really loving it.
Before this I had bought a Haswell 4470K but that was a big dissapointed... way too hot and terrible OC.
I guess I was unlucky with a bad chip. I sold it.
But tides have turned for me this time around, my 3930K seems to be very decent.
I am using this OC as a stable 24/7 OC.. Temps go max to about 58c on water on full load after an hour of testing with Aida64.
Seeing the results on the first page of this post I am very curious how far I can push this cpu.
I have also ran 4.8Ghz with 1.38 Vcore. Temps were not going over 75c but my VRM's..... get freaking hot.
I have a temp censor there from my fan controler.
So for a 24/7 OC I thought it'd be better to go back a few notches.
So anyway, it's a bit late to join the club but here I am
