Which RAM is better ? (Frequency / Latency)

Thread Starter
Hi everyone,
First, I would like to apology if my english is not perfect and I'll do my best to be understandable !

Here is my computer :

Motherboard : ASUS P8P67 M PRO
Processor : Intel i5 2500K OC 4.5Ghz
Graphic Card : MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II 2GD5/OC
SSD : Corsair Serie 3 120Go
Power : Corsair 650W

I forget the RAM yes, but this is my question !

Which one of those RAM are the best ?

4x4Go DDR3 1600 Mhz 7-8-7-24 (240 euros)
4x4Go DDR3 1866 Mhz 9-9-9-24 (260 euros)
4x4Go DDR3 2133 Mhz 9-11-9-28 (330 euros)

For now, I own the 2133Mhz but I can send them back and being refund if someone think another set of RAM is better.
As you can see, I can save about 100 euros by changing for one of the two other RAM, so if differences between RAM aren't so big or if for example the 1600Mhz CL7 is better than my 2133Mhz CL9, well, I will change the RAM !

Thanks for reading and hope someone can help me ^^

See you guys !

I'd go with these...

4x4Go DDR3 1866 Mhz 9-9-9-24 (260 euros)
Depending on your platform, the extra speed on the sticks will not provide any noticeable difference in applications. And you can overclock them to the same speed without issues, whereas many boards are limited by the IMC at 2133mhz.

From my understanding, Intel likes speed over timings.
I also think for real world use you would probably see no difference between the 1866 and 2133, so I would probably go with the 1866.

Thay are all going too perform roughly the same. The difference won't be noticeable no matter which ones you choose, except in benchmarks and such.

Only use the higher end stuff if you are into tweaking and benchmarking.Otherwise the cas 7 ddr3 1600 will be great.smile.gifsmile.gif
