Need help with new headset!!

Looking for a new gaming headset to buy, I don have a sound card, because of the fact that i have a Asus M4AD88TV-EVO/USB3 motherboard, and with both my 6970's in there i wouldn't have a enough room..

But anyways im looking for something that's not overly priced but a good headset that really brings the guns to life, with 5.1 surround sound. I guess im looking for something that makes me feel as if I were there

here are some headsets I was looking at, if anyone has experience with these headsets let me know what you think

My main things im looking for is.. A. Comfort (does it got uncomfortable or really sweaty, I don't have a big head or really big ears) B. Sound, ( I want something that has good bass, but at the same time gives me a good sense of direction of where the enemy is coming from. and C. Price along with 5.1 Surround, (Honestly any 5.1 will sound better than my 2.1 harman/kardon speakers LOL)

With that kept in mind, i play BF3. Skyrim, League of Legends, and BFBC2 mainly.thumb.gif

How about the Corsair HS1?

I've been using these ever since they were released and have had no issues with them. Sound is great, microphone is fairly high quality on ventrilo and what not.

The driver software is neat too. (comes with voice changer tongue.gif)

I play BF3 and many other games with these too where sound positioning is important and these work well for me. They're under $100 and you can get them for even cheaper in some cases.

Sweet deal here: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=55389&vpn=CA-HS1NA&manufacture=Corsair&promoid=1282

I had experienced the Megalondon and my friends said the microphone quality over Ventrilo was terrible.

Not sure if it was just my computer back then but it was a USB interface so I don't know what could go wrong. Regardless, when I switched to the HS1 the mic quality was way better. Sound isn't bad either, the only real complaint I have is that the bass isn't as great but these are made for gaming anyway.

What is your budget?

Good phones for cheap and use Dolby Live to get 5.1 from your onboard

Makes for a nice setup.

Or if you have some cash Sennheiser PC 360's are spectacular. Can find some decent deals with them right now.

I agree, I've had the PC360 for a brief period and they were amazing. Really no complaints about those at all. The deal on Amazon is hard to pass up on.
