Do your 480 on top and 240 at the bottom (remove hardrive cage) and you'll have one of the best water cooling case around.

Thanks! I will do that, 480 and 240 should be more then enough for cpu +2 gpu

Not much difference between push pull or push I bet?

For pushing, how would I mount the fans? Between the rad and grill?

Did you see my thread at all?!?!?!?!? Its not entirely exclusive to the RX480 at the bottom wink.gif

The 480mm rad has been done extensively on the 700/800D. The reason folks referred you to my mod was to see how did the top RX480 was fitted, not to stick it at the bottom. The bottom mod is more extensive and really eats up a lot of valuable space. You can stick in the entire RX480 with push/pull with a smidgen of space left or you can go with a shroud like mine (any many 700/800D owners).

I'm currently running a Swiftech mcr420 (480mm) at the top and an mcr320 (360) push/pull at the bottom with a psu extension. Send me a pm if you have any more questions. My 800d has been through quite a few different rad setups, all logged in that thread.

If you are just cooling your sig cpu and two 460s, the RX480 is more than enough. If you plan to cool three gpus or two gtx 480s, then add another rx120 or mod the bottom for an RX240.

I bought a RX240 anyways for the bottom. I think this will hold me over for any future upgrades! Your original beast was my inspiration on the RX480 thumb.gif

Grill - Fans (push or pull) - rad.

i have mine in push cold air into the rad. i get some really nice temp. i found that removing the bottom hardrive cage was hard but not impossible. Without that hardrive cage the case looks much better.
i also agree that a RX480 on top and RX240 at the bottom it is more than enough cooling power for cpu and 2 or 3 gpus.

I bought a RX240 for the bottom, modding the case looks like a breeze! Thanks man:thumb:
