I do not recommend over volting a mobile graphics chip. There's not sufficient cooling in a laptop to allow for much of an overclock and the minimal gain you would get by doing so isn't even worth it. You can try to overclock the chip with stock volts, but your temps will get too hot before you would even need to raise voltages.

He said Undervolt.. the process of doing the exact opposite

Unfortunately, OP I have no idea, as I'm fairly sure laptop bios are quite restrictive (Mine has a energy saving option and that's all) You might need to look for software to do so..

Dump your bios with GPUz and attach it to your post. I want to take a look at it.

I am running stable 672/1344/900 @ 0.85v

I wish I could earn money doing this biggrin.gif

ok so if i have been looking at other forums and im not sure if its worth the risk. all i want to do is play on mid-high in bf3
post #10 of 13
I undervolted mine to 0.86v , I say not worth , do it only if your notebook is shutting off during gaming due to high temps.
If you want performance , overclock your card to more than 700 like I did.

Good luck smile.gif
