gtx580--> HDMI 42" HDTV Not scaling properly?

I just got myself a nice long HDMI cable to hook up my lightning to my TV. To switch monitors I open Nvidia CP and click "set up multiple displays". Then I check off the pc moniter and check on the HDTV but theres a problem.

My start button is off the screen to the left. The taskbar is half off the bottom. Something's not right. The res is set to the reccomended 1080p,

What am I doing wrong?

I'm not a video expert, however, until one replies, look for an Overscan option in your Nvidia control panel and try adjusting that, that might do the trick...

after reading the help menu it looks like your right. It seems I have to adjust overscan on the TV, now to just find the remote... lol

Thanks
