Assassin's Creed Revelations' Dodgey Framerate

Thread Starter
Hi guys, my copy of AC:R arrived today, and although I havn't had a chance to try it on my personal console, when played on the one downstairs the framerate is, for a game of this generation, pretty poor, at least I think so, I havn't played it on the Xbox so I don't know if it's a console issue but I'm hoping that it's just because it was on the downstairs TV and it will be smoother upstairs, but I geneuinly think there has been a noticible dip in average FPS in comparison to brotherhood as I never had the issue whilst I was playing brotherhood, it didn't run at silky smooth 60FPS, but it was acceptable and enjoyable non-the-less but it is really starting to worry me in AC:R so far especially in the crowded areas I think from looking it can go as low as 20-24 fps!

Anyway is anybody else experiencing/noticed this, (the rest of the game is great by the way).
Maybe it's due to me playing at an average 60 on the PC that my eyes can't bare anything less than 40fps but i'm not too sure Hahaha!

Have the same problem with Brotherhood and Revelations on the PC. Really annoying, because the 1st and 2nd played smoothly on the Xbox 360.

Smooth as butter on my rig.

Game looks sharper than any of the past ACs...textures are crisp/high res, shadows and lighting are very well done. This game appears to be extremely well optimized compared to the last 3 AC games, imo. It's possible that you guys are running into some bottlenecks.

Just seems strange when the recommended system requirements are way below my rig, so shouldn't be a problem. Even lowering settings doesn't help. You sure you got the PC version?

LOL comparing emperor rigs to commoner rigs? xD

If it doesn't run great on your rig might as well throw it out LOLOL

AC games have always been "stuttery" in my experience. Probably need uber rigs like yours xD

Then again, I am sensitive to many kinds of stutters even on regular flash vids that people around me don't really notice.
