Advice on new rig

Thread Starter
Okay, I have been saving up for a while and now I think I have enough money. My budget is $2000 if it's worth it. Now, this build is to be patriotic. My family is in the military and this is for them and all the other families. Advice?

Requirements:
Amazing case for painting the flag on
Watercooled

No need for anything other than the parts for the computer ie monitor, keyboard etc etc
and also no need for a sound card.

What do you have already that you'll use in your new build?

Also, you have to give us more than that to go on. I strongly recommend looking through the plethora of "help me with my new build" threads to get an idea for what people are buying in your price range. When you settle on your core specs, like processor and GPU requirements given your budget, then it becomes much easier to help you with the rest of your build.

Some things that come to mind that you haven't answered:
  • Primary computer use scenario.
  • Minimum performance for that use.
  • Hard drive space requirements.
  • Case dimension limitations.
  • Your experience with case modding.
  • What constitutes an "amazing" case.

I'm sure there are some other things, but that should keep you busy in the mean time.

2600k and at least a 570
I will be doing 24/7 folding and the case just needs to have a big enough outside surface for the painting
