Thanks Arazonian,

how does the hawk 460 compare to these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130570

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=54534&vpn=ZT-40401-10P%20%28ZT-40404-10H%29&manufacture=Zotac

http://www.ncix.ca/products/?sku=61236&vpn=GV%2DN56GOC%2D1GI&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoid=1190

Does the dual fan really matter, more silent?

Not trying to run games at max settings, just wan't to run games like GTA5, hitman 5, and max payne 3 at like 80% when they come out

Well I'm biased. Don't take my advice with a grain of salt. Out of EVGA, Gigabyte, and Zotac. EVGA all the way.

Non-biased the MSI Hawk is better as a non-reference GTX 460 as a personal opinion.

Can't comment on the Hawks fan noise as I've not heard them. I used to own two MSI AMD 6870 Twin Frozr II's and it was farily silent. It was silent when it was just one, adding two did ramp up my noise volume.

The Dual fans are better air cooling which keep temps down that help achieve higher over clocks and squeeze the most of your GPU. If your not much into over clocking then any of them will suffice. Not many over clockers keep it at benching levels anyway 24/7. You'll get darn close to or eqaul to 1000Mhz on the core with the MSI Hawk with slight voltage bump.

Here is a Nvidia GTX 460 Round Up Review. It's pretty long but a great read to learn a great deal about your choice. Only one not covered was the MSI GTX 460 HAWK which you can read about. Nice long read but you'll learn a ton as well.

Hope this helped. thumb.gif You can get all the advice from others but at the end of the day your the one coming home to your rig and need to be happy in your decision. smile.gif
