Brand new bridge just arrived, so far, no difference. Sigh. Am fiddling with drivers again. Drivesweeper seems to have been discontinued, whats the next best piece of software? (no shareware, adware etc)

i dont know if this is the cause or anything.. but when you look at the GPU-Z one is pci-express 2.0 and one is just PCI-E.

after a few seconds the 2.0 goes away and they both say exactly the same thing. think I just took the screenshot before it had finished loading up properly

Try the SLI in a different computer if possible. See if they both show up. Of course they should show up, but theres always the 1 chance out of 10000 that you got a faulty card for sli or something... if it does show up my bet is that there is something either effed with the drivers, or the motherboard is on drugs.

Didn't think it would be the SLI bridge, but then again nobody listens to me lol

One thing i would try is Disable integrated GPU in your Bios to see if that's causing a conflict somehow. Also whilst your in the Bios check to see if you have a Primary GPU Boot option, some Bios' have this daft meaningless feature that could be the problem. Options are:- PCI or PCI-E

IGD has been disabled from the very start, and the discrete is set to boot (same option in bios basically). only pci option in the bios is some legacy thing for 32bit+ timing, but dont think that applies to pci-e
