hey all Sorry for the 2 month delay! but i bring good news
well it looks like im going to be starting work on this again very soon. This week i will be finishing up my models in 2D for printing and most likely get them to the cutter next week
I will be using a 1/2 arcylic which which im thinking of going with a white color scheme (white case, black or white cable sleeving).
i have made a few changes to the diagrams to ad in a few new things; decided to go with a combined bitspower mini tank so i can add a drain port in the back the case and allow for a SSD rack where the res would be to accommodate the two SSD's. To the back of the case i will be adding a reset button, along with on the inside the case internal wifi antennas (similar to those in laptops) so that they wont get knocked off in transit

so far been thinking of how i might want to color it, thinking of a vinyl tint that i would apply on the inside the case thats not to transparent, but when turned on use so leds and led fans to "illuminate" the insides of the case, allowing the insides to be seen through the tint when its turned on.. like a window i guess? Although not sure if that sounds a bit tacky
Thoughts on this or how maybe i could/should color it?

For a monitor you could use this.

It's a 1080p HMD which also is powered through USB or battery pack. You can have the PC inside a back pack(if it's not too heavy) and have the power cable come out of the side of the back pack so power it with an AC outlet when one is available. Get a foldable keyboard and wireless mouse and you are set to go!

Something you could look into is 3M Color Stable Window Film. Its a automotive window tint that will not turn purple with age. Given the stability needed to maintain appearance, I think that it would be your best choice.

Hey guys So like i said im getting into the finishing stages of getting everything put together before cutting. Heres the first rendering i have of the case with the exterior walls, also finished making it into a 2d doc. The dimensions of this are 10.25" (H) x 11.25" (W) x 13.25" (L)
But anyways just wanted to hear some thoughts of it before i send it off into the cutting process

I really like it. Like you said before, it could be smaller, but I think this should give better airflow. It's going to be great to see this come to life.
OT: Could you give me a little info on that rendering you do? I have done my own cases before, but what you have looks amazing! To actually have the components rendered and be able to manipulate them makes it a lot easier than measuring and mocking stuff up with GIMP like I do now. I have to do a lot of thinking and comparing pixels to inches etc.
