Should I wait?

Thread Starter
Recently I've been wanting to put together a custom build. I was considering water cooling or maybe even full submergence. In order to do this I would need to begin to put money aside to save. My question however, should I wait for DDR4? Does anyone believe there is something I should, keyword should, wait for that will come out relatively soon? This question can be answered solely based on opinion as I'm curious as to what others think. I apologize if this is in the incorrect forum, thanks in advance.

Unfortunately if you wait

there will always be something even better

But you definitely need an update as your GPU needs to be replaced to catch up with modern games in FULL HD.

I would just go with DDR3. There is still no clear release date, they say either in 2012 or 2015.
They are discussing this matter in this forum:

You can go with full submergence if you have the money for it and are planning to do high overclocks.
Anyway you can do high enough overclocks on air, my opinion.

Good luck smile.gif

Why would you base a build on ram? Im sorry but that is ridiculous.

I was simply trying to state a generalized item that may or may not be coming out soon.
