Hey guys, currently I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145236 rated at 1.65V and 8 cas , do I need to upgrade this ram to a better one or is it already good? I am thinking about http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-145-347&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=5&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Keywords=%28keywords%29&Page=1#scrollFullInfo 1.5v and 9 cas , or is there other ram I could get? or just not upgrade at all and save money tongue.gif thx

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226241 that is a good kit, the one your looking at getting is a quad channel kit, you need a triple channel for your board.

1366 socket IMC's are fairly dodgy. There's hardly a chance you'll get to run your memory at speeds over 1800mhz when you're overclocking the CPU as well.

So stick with what you currently have, so save money wink.gif (besides, the other kit you linked is quad channel, 1366 socket boards only do triple channel).

id stick with what you have if your on a tight budget, but more then doubling RAM would probably help get you ready for the future smile.gif
