[Peoples World] Lying on the internet could become a crime - Page 4

its the internet, we should have the right to remain anonymous. lying with intent to cause harm should be punishable but dont group everyone in the same category.

i refuse to have my real details floating around in a sea where everyone can have a peek at. the internet is a giant MMORPG

this is another good reason to stop using social networking

This can't be enforced. First thing I thought of was Three Strikes. Lie about your shoe size, height, and accidently forget one digit of your telephone number, and bam. Arrested tongue.gif

I know it's not that serious, but it makes me worried anyways.

You signed a contract to waive your first amendment right to enter NDA or when joining the military. Like me giving up my 4th Amendment right to go fishing and get harassed by Fish and Game.

I just bought 2 3960X systems, a Bulldozer system, and I plan on buying a 3930K system.

2 of these 3 are lies.

Come at me bro.

I 100% agree with this, the less info you put on the net the better.
