FX4100 bottle necking on sli Battlefield 3 - Page 4

That cinebench screenshot seriously makes me sad, I was really hoping AMD would pull through on this one. Guess my AMD rig will have to do with its 955 a bit longer.

But as for bottlenecking...to be honest, with benchmark scores like that, I would be shocked if it wasn't.

Not trying to flame or start any arguements, but how many people in here have actually used the FX-4100? I have it, and have no issues with BF3, while running at max settings at 1920x1080. You can bench it all you want and compare it to the other chips, and talk about how it's a disappointment, but suprisingly the FX 4100 runs much smoother at 4.0ghz than my 965 did at 4.1ghz. I'll bench it this weekend and give some results if anyone is interested.

BF3 is well threaded so not surprised if FX4100 performs decent. try it with almost any other game like crysis 1, shogun 2 total war, starcraft 2 which only uses 2 cores but very cpu extensive and see that cpu cry for help

If I had those games I would definitely take your offer up, but how about a BF3, Skyrim, and 3DMark 11 bench. I don't have a lot of newer games. Does that offer sound reasonable?
