Those graphs look much better...Maybe some games will do better on it than other games...No doubt its not the best choice for SLI, but these three tests seem encouraging...

Metro is very gpu bound, it doesn't matter if I run my chip at 3Ghz or if I run it at 5.3Ghz, it doesn't change the fps much at all, maybe 1 fps difference.

Crysis 2 seems pretty sketchy, the usage is going up and down, up and down, not sure how the gameplay feels with that kind of usage, but it's probably not ideal. In my testing Crysis 2 I found that after the 1.9 patch the game was less cpu threaded, and there was now a limit of 100 fps on the game. I'm not sure if you're as limited the same as I seem to be, but no matter what resolution I use I can't crack 100 fps.

Black Ops isn't very demanding last I checked, 40% usage on both cards could mean you're still well over 60 fps anyways.

Edit: Another thing was [H] has reported SLI requires more cpu power than CF, their testing with a 3.8GHz 1366 i7 revealed this fact when they moved to a SB cpu and saw huge gains from Nvidia cards and almost no change from AMD's gpus.

In our edition of PC Format they did an article on upgrading. They found from their tests that Nvidia cards always did better with more powerful Intel processors than with AMD. So I would think that if that happens in single card then it would be exaggerated in SLI.

I wish I had the money to order 2x 6790's to Crossfire with the 4100 I'm ordering. I know they're not as powerful as 460's but they're pretty decent so it would give some idea of CFX performance vs SLI.

Surely someone wit an FX-4100 has a pair of 6850's or equivalents hanging around, lol!!

Hi all
It was running in 1680 / 1050 as this is the max Res on my Sceen.

Its seams good in all games in Sli and Single other than BF3. where single is better I.e smother Detail is reduced slightly i think .but that would be corect with only 1 card running yes ?
