Help on fine tuning 2500k Asus P8P67 4.5 GHz OC - Page 2

I went ahead and made a couple of changes you guys recommended:

VCCIO Voltage 1.125v
CPU PLL Voltage 1.75

Everything still seems to be stable at 4.5GHz. Seems my CPU-Z voltage is the same under load as previous settings.

Dropped PLL down to 1.7 as suggested... still stable and 5c less! smile.gif

Details behind my suggestions are I've overclocked about 15 SB chips on various boards and know what needs to be set now. With the settings I recommended, you can prolly boot up to 5ghz if you applied 1.45v. Mite not be stable or you could manage the temps, but that's what it takes to get there. You should set your LLC down one notch from Extreme tho. If it takes a little more Vcore to get you to your stable load voltage that's ok.

I have my 2500k @ 5ghz 1.392v load (1.700v PLL) (1.150v VCCIO/VTT) (Pll overvolt enabled) (CPU Over Current 130%) and this is 15hrs Prime blend stable with temps maxing at 58c on the hottest core with my chilled water and 66c with my quad rad and I have 3 480's in the same loop.

Stay with 1.700v on the PLL. Drops temps and seemed to be the most stable for me. Some say 1.55v worked, but in testing 1.700v was perfect at the above settings and anything less would crash. Even 1.650v crashed.
