Ah, well those are both very fine choices...I dont think youd've been dissapointed with either smile.gif

As mentioned mech kbs have good resale value, you could try both and keep whichever you prefer.
On the other hand we have a few members here with vast KB collections, perhaps you're on your way to being a collector too (and drain your wallet in true OCN fashion) tongue.gif

I owned a 1087 and still own a Choc Mini, both are good keyboards and both have their advantages. The 1087 has a standard layout so it is much easier to customize it with aftermarket keycaps and it also has a removable USB cable(I personally like this feature). Really, the only thing the Choc Mini has over the 1087 is a more compact layout, it brings the F keys closer to the number row which is convenient for some games.

I would agree that for your first board, the Ducky was a better choice. I also own both and they have their differences but for your first board, the Ducky was good.

At least he tried to speak English, it might not be his first language. If it is and he simply sucks at grammar, I would suggest he goes beck to school.

Adequate education is apparently a matter of perception. thumb.gif

I ALWAYS recommend asking that question about the keyboard BEFORE buying it.

Works better that way.

I have been using my new Ducky 1087 keyboard with Cherry Brown keys and I absolutely love it; I don't regret my buy at all. Never again with cheap rubber dome keys!
