Need $500 build. URGENT

I'm going to need to finalize a list of parts for my next computer in at most 2 hours, but I need your help. I already have the CPU and GPU in mind, a 6870 + i3-2120 combo here which saves me $20 + rebate and such:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.749296

Although, I've gotten a list of parts for my computer, I am not as experienced as many others on Overclock. ANd I have no idea which parts are the best. It'd be great if you could help me out. I have no idea on a motherboard as well, if you could make it so it has maximum 4 DIMM RAM slots, that'd be great, but not necessary, all in all, just keep it around $500. Absolute max is $525, with rebates and shipping.

Thanks, and please help, or esle I'd have a hard getting my computer in the first place as we'll be busy for the next weeks.

OH, also, I already am getting a 1TB barracuda drive from Best BUy, don't need to worry about HDD.

No, sadly, closest one is an hour away, and we aren't able to drive that far. At least for now. If it's for an HDD, I'm already getting one from Best Buy. Sorry for not mentioning, I edited my post. If it's for the other parts, then I don't know :/.

If you are on a budget,

OCZ PSU - $35 AR and coupon code
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341022

DDR3 1600 Ripjaws are always $29.99 or less for 4 GB

Antec 300 case is still solid $45
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042

you have a decent cpu, graphics, and hdd already so that should just about do it.

i'd seriously consider spending an extra $100 for the i5 2500k tho

Sorry, I worded it wrong, what I mean by you don't have to worry about the HDD, is that it's added to the price lol. So that means you have, lemme estimate:

$200 for all the other parts. I'll go for that OCZ though.

While I was waiting, I decided to conjure up a new list:

Case - NZXT M59 - $49.99
PSU - OCZ Fatal1ty 550W - $35 AR and code
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB (4GB x 2) - $42.99
Motherboard - Open Box ASRock H61DE/S3 - $54.99
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB - $54.99
GPU & CPU - XFX HD 6870 and Intel i3-2120 - $272.98 AR
2 CM 120MM Blue LED case fans - $15.98

Total is $521.91 AR

I must be dreaming, I never got such good parts at such a low price! The PSU was a life-saver!

Should I take the 2 120MM fans, I feel it will really help in cooling the graphics card and case overall, but would it better to not take them? And will they fit in the M59?

Thanks for all the help!

I would like to suggest a Corsair CX500 power supply over OCZ for a few extra dollars.
Corsair CX500 $49.99 After $10 MIR (+$15)

Agree with Antec 300 Case for the price.
Next choice is a Coolermaster HAF 912 at $59.99 (+$10)

G.SKILL Value Series, 2x4GB RAM , Good timings, Good voltage. Good capacity. Great price. Agreed with others.

I think you will have good enough performance with an i3-2120 and you will be able to fully use your HD 6870 in most games. (GTA4 may be an exception)
I am unsure on motherboards in your price range. Make sure it can support higher RAM speeds. (1600MHz) otherwise purchase 1333MHz RAM.

that mobo supports up to 1333mhz. i thing op should just go with 2x2gig ram and save some money towards case fans my 2cents.gif]

antec 300 is great but theres no cable management holes. I had antec and had to mod it. it was fun but if you dont have the time tool and patience invest in case with some cable management.
