There are only two players left in town and one is crippled. I don't see why should Seagate drop its price, I certainly wouldn't if I were the CEO of Seagate. Hitachi is bought up by WD and Samsung HD division is bought up by Seagate. I think that they would have to come down in price at some point since it will hurt the already slow pc sales but it will take a while for HDs to come down to pre-flood price. I hope SSD can catch up soon so we won't have to buy as many HDDs:d 512GB SSD for 200 bucks sounds good!
