O ok. So all they did was move a HDD tray in the center and put a fan in there? Also here is a link to linus's website with pictures of his build and you can see what I mean.

on the video it seemed it was one big piece of mesh but looking at it there it seems its individual pieces of mesh made to fit a 5.25 bay drive.

Linus has mounted his fans onto a radiator. As for individual pieces of mesh he uses Lian Li drive bay covers and has modded them as they do not fit normally.

Yes I understand that I'm talking about just the mesh grill. I'm guessing it was something like this that he used.

How does it have to be modded? Y

I think that might be the one he has, but Lian Li do a similar one which is thicker, hence the need to mod it. I believe the thicker one you would have to take off the dust filter portion of the mesh/foam to make it sit flush in the drive bays, but that link looks good pal!

Awsome thanks. At first I wasn't going to go nuts with it but now why not make it look nice. I wasn't looking forward to doing all the painting and modding but now I can't wait.

Aye, modding is quite addictive and satisfying! Good luck with your project. I'd love to know how it goes so drop me a pm when you do it smile.gif

You don't need to put put any fan in the front. I put a 480 rad at the bottom.

Yea I know and I have seen that done to but I think I'll just put it in front. I really like that look. Putting it at the bottom though is my backup plan if the mod doesn't work.

I just thought of one more thing. You know how the fans mounted on top are 120mm well can you mount bigger fans up there. The Obsidian for instance comes with mounting up top for three 120mm fans two 140mm fans or one 200mm fan. It givers you a lot of mounting options.

While the 650d does offer different fan sizes to mount, the tj07 is only compatible with dual 120mm fans up top without modding.
