pretty sure they would be even, or close to it. but the i5 is much faster than anything AMD has to offer clock per clock. they also OC higher.

According to that it says the X4 9 series is 71C.. I'm not sure if the 960T is included in that.

I would stay under 62C anyways, especially if you unlock the cores. Preferably 55C.

ok, so I understand that C1E is a feature that lowers your CPU's speed while it's not being used to it's full potential, and that should be left off while overclocking and stress testing, but after I confirm that My CPU is stable at the desired speed should I turn C1E back on?

The thing is, I won't really be utilizing the 6 cores because I'm using this rig primarily for gaming and web browsing.

If thats the case, save some bread and go for this:

I have this in my old rig, its a cheap beast for anything. It also has an unlocked multiplier and should hit 3.2-3.4ghz with little effort.

thinking.gif should I take the risk? unlocking it to a four core seems a little bit unlikely........then again, most of the time the fourth core was unstable due to the mobo........I'm using a crosshair IV formula....what do you guys think?
