what does this do?

Try to run everything at BIOS defaults to rule out it is the RAM overclock instability.

Reset CMOS, go into BIOS to load Optimized defaults and test again it it still freezes.

I underclocked the ram to 1333MHz and went for 9-9-9-28 timings since my ram is rated for 8-8-8-24 which are a bit tighter and it still froze. I ran prime 95 for 7 hours and its all good. I don't understand, it freezes when it wants too, doesn't matter if I'm just browsing or even gaming. I also used the custom bios Ken suggested and changed Mhz values and all that, but that didn't matter. I don't think it's the ram guys :/

I don't understand why you don't want to run everything on stock BIOS defaults. Just let the whatever the BIOS gives you including the RAM timings and sub-timings. Nothing overclocked or underclocked.

It will be easier to help if we know exactly what it is. As of now, we do not know if the freezes is related to the BIOS settings or your card or something else.

I did set the BIOS to default! Just changed hard disk boot priority and that's it!

Quick update guys:

Just got like 4 freezes in less than an hour (which is very uncommon and much more frequent from the errors
I wrote about before) and finally there was some graphic corruption on my lcd and the computer restarted.
I checked the event viewer and found this 2 errors:

-The atidgllk service failed to start due to the following error:
This driver has been blocked from loading

-\??\C:\Users\Joseph\Desktop\Flash\atidgllk.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

And then finally the error leading to the graphic corruption and reboot is this one:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000094, 0xfffff88007369839, 0xfffff88005ddacb8, 0xfffff88005dda510). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 111911-13182-01.

Since I have less than 20gb free space on my HDD it would not create the minidump log file? WTH? I still say this is a vid card error frown.gif

It still freezes...this is driving me nuts man! Freezes are getting more common, it doesn't matter if I have dual monitor setup
or single, it's freezing everyday! I'm so tempted to buy a new vid card tomorrow!!!!
