Stick with the Storm Enforcer and use that money for PC parts! [Performances over Looks!]

Hey everyone,
Just to start off I've been going through the forums for quite awhile now smile.gif. Finally decided to join the community.

Currently I'm in a deep situation.

As of this week I will be getting an upgrade on my PC, and will be building a PC for my father.
With this I've found an opportunity for myself. I will be giving my father most of my current PC parts, (CPU, MOBO, and maybe even GPU)

Now I will be doing the transactions, but I won't be losing any money since he'll pay it to me later on. (Basically a free upgrade, but he can't pay for too much.)

Should I use a portion of this money to upgrade my chassis? (I currently have the CM Storm Enforcer and would like a Corsair 600t.) That case just has a magnetic attraction to me... Not that anything is wrong with my Storm Enforcer. [Except for the mesh panels.. which are really bad:mad:] Now if I get this case.. I would be losing $160 worth of parts that I could've used to upgrade. Maybe I could get a better GPU or Water-cooling (Corsair Hydro series)

If you were in this situation..What would you do?
If could suggest other situations it would be wonderful.

Performance over Looks?
or the other way around.

Thank you for your help.

Its really personal opinion, but the overclocker in me is saying use the money for new parts.

I agree with everyone here. Normally it doesn't apply to the upgrade itch but just to say it, "If it ain't broke don't fix it." LOL thumb.gif

Ah, Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I thought about it as well and better/fast parts would save less frustration than looks over a case. I've filled out my computer specifications but I don't see it showing up?

I've found nothing wrong with my case, they are indeed very spacious and provides everything I need. Getting the 600T is just spending $160 for the outside look. Thank you everyone for helping! It really got me over thinking in between the two.. now I've got a decision!

I'd like to ask for upgrade helps.. but I suppose it would have to go into another section of the forum. rolleyes.gif
