Radeon 6850 Crossfire scaling problems

Thread Starter
hi. i dont know where to start becouse this is my first post. i came here becouse i dont understand why do i have lags at 2mp resolution (especially with hi res textures on) when crossfire is enabled in crysis 2 and battlefield 3. and i have scaling of -3% in crysis 2 and battlefield 3 at 3,1mp resolution. My hardware is:

CPU: amd phenom II 1090T (@4,2GHz, 1,5volts, 233MHz*18)
MB: asus crosshair IV Formula (890fx/sb850, dual graphics @x16)
RAM: corsair dominator 2x2gb ddr3 1600MHz CL8 (@1866MHz CL8 1,8volts)
RAM cooling: corsair dominator with 3 40mm fans
CPU cooling: corsair a70 (35°c idle cpu temp, max 50°c while gaming)
Graphics: Sapphire Toxic 6850 crossfire (@840MHz, 1150MHz memory, stock voltage)
PSU: Corsair TX 750w
HDD: WD caviar black 640GB (sata3, 64mb cache)
...case: antec 600
....dvd drive: asus drw-something..

I did some benchmarking today, here are my results:
dirt 3 scaling is 90% at 3,1mp res
battlefield 2 bc 99% at 2mp
unigine heaven benchmark v2,5, all maxed out 70% scaling at 3,1 mp
unigine tropics demo v1,3, all maxed out instead of 4xAA 97% at 3,1mp
...(for some reason, i dont know why, i have only 11 fps with AAx8 but 109 with AAx4 when CF enabled)

and finally..
crysis 2 scaling is 60% at 2mp resolution with high res textures off
... lags a bit when doing a 360° movement, lags a lot when doing the same with hi res textures on..
durning the lag, there is hdd activity. i dont think that i need more ram becouse it works smooth with one card.
battlefield 3 scaling -3% at 3,1mp
.. also hdd activity durning the lag

my gpu-s are not fully loaded in heaven benchmark, crysis 2 and battlefield 3..

anyone help me?
newest drivers etc..
sorry for bad english

4:3 ratio
2048*1536 is 3,1mp
1600*1200 is 2 mp
crysis 2 playable at 1280*1024 (1,3mp) with high textures off

Try this then and run a test again:

1. Go to regedit (start > search programs and files > "regedit").
2. In drop down menu: find file > type "enableulps".
3. For ALL instances (keep pressing F3) change the "1" value to a "0".
4. Reboot PC.

scaling is 66% with high resolution textures and 90% without them.
i still have lags with hi res textures and min fps is 0.
i've also installed 11.11 drivers today.
is it a usual crossfire texture problem or cpu bottlenecking?
in battlefield 3 gpu1 activity is 100% and gpu 2 0%.
crossfire is enabled, im sure. both gpu-s have activity in other games and benchmarks..

Are you playing in windowed mode?

Are all of your clocks stable?

I get near 100% scaling at 1080p.
