Help with picking the rest of my parts for my Haf X - Page 2

post #11 of 13
Exactly what Nyghtryder said. You can fit just about any 360 up top in push/pull as well as a rear 120. Depending on the thickness of the 120, you may need to mount a fan externally. Other than that, I've seen a couple mount a vertical 240 on the HDD cage, just to the right of the GPUs. That method isn't very efficient, but will work. Finally, you can fit a 240 on the front or front bottom with modding.

I have 2 360 rads on my HAF X. One in the standard place up top and the second hung off the back. You can see a pic of the setup here:

Originally I wanted to have everything nice and tidy inside the case but ended up liking the idea of having the heat exchangers outside of the case.

I'm thinking that eventually it would be nice to have both rads (and/or more rads) separated out from the heat producing components in a M8/M10 with a pedestal or a similar setup. smile.gif

@Willie828

check my build log for radiator positioning and tube routing. That might give you some hints and foresight in your build.
