BF3 Won't Install... This is a serious issue!

Reformatted to a clean windows 7.

Installed it on one of my SSDs, and the game ran amazing.

I decided to install an MMORPG on the same SSD, bad idea. I decided to right click the Origin Folder (which is ~ 15GB) and move it to the other SSD (which had nothing in it).

I deleted the original Origin folder, thinking that I now have it copy and pasted to a new SSD & it will work still, but when I tried to delete it.. it was too big for the recycle bin and I had to delete it permanently.

I clicked the Origin in the Origin Folder, and it booted up Origin, but BF3 was not loaded (even though I copied the whole folder to the other SSD).

So I decide to delete anything I see BF3 wise (I don't know how to properly clean it).

I put in my DVD, and it takes longer than usual to load up. So I click "English", then I click Install on the BF3 Window... and it shows it loading (makes my cursor turn into a loading circle), and nothing happens after I click the yellow install button (on the blueish/black BF3 install window).

Any ideas? I'd like to install BF3 VIA DVD!

I would try a few more times to install, otherwise I'd just uninstall and reinstall Origin.

I agree with this try uninstalling and reinstalling origins because if you have the game on disc and not download it shouldn't take that long to reinstall

1) i copied Origin (that's what the Main folder containing BF3 is called) to another drive

2) deleted it from original drive (i just right clicked the folder, and deleted)

3) deleted the Origin form the drive that was contacted by the first drive (so the one that received it, was deleted - there is no more Origins)

4) I insert DVD...

5) Select English

6) A small window pops up, on the bottom right, I click Install

7) Nothing happens

Why didn't you just uninstall Origin+games from your original drive, and then install Origin and your games on your other drive? Just by copying files over and deleting the original folder, you're not accounting for all the registry entries that are needed for proper functionality.

Looks like quite a mess, I suggest going to Start>Control Panel>Programs & Features>Uninstall Origin and any games associated with it.

Run CCleaner (download it from Piriform's website), use the registry cleaner option and only delete entries relating to your MMORPG, BF3, or Origin.

Then install Origin on your SSD, and install BF3 on your SSD from your physical media (you can change the download directory in Origin's settings). After it's installed, change the download/install directory to your other drive, and install your MMORPG.
