Really like The flex edition, has some nice features like the vapor cooling and comes clocked.
Saw a review showing that it performs with the 580,in some cases beating it.Is this card similar to the toxic and which one has the bios switch.

Where you saw the 6950 beating the 580 I'd like to see proof, because that GTX 580 I'm betting was not over clocked, I'm positive. The GTX 580 over clocked surpasses that AMD 6950 unlocked and even over clocked. NO way did you see a over clocked GTX 580 comparison.

I'm guessing they were showing an unlocked AMD 6950 with a stock GTX 580 to show comparison on how well it does. This I'd belive.

Price per performance the AMD 6950 would be your best bet.

Raw performance the GTX 580.

Nothing against FLEX but I'd go with the Toxic. Just my personal preference. I like the hot air exhaust blown out the rear of the rig as opposed to being dumped inside the case as a personal preference.

Oh I know the 580 is out on its own when it comes to performance and that's what I thought overclocked 6970 flex compared to a stock 580.
Just surprised to see how close they were.
Think sapphire have finally made a 6970 worth buying.

Lol, it's like you never read what you type. He is not talking about the 6950, but the 6970. Also is a 580 is better than a 6970 (benches show that), then its way better than a 6950.

^^How do you like your crossfire 6970's? Any complaints similar to [H]ardocp where they got lag by moving the mouse quickly or when near explosions or lots of debris? Any stuttering? I ask because I'm not 100% sure about this 580 yet and it's still within return policy.

Erm..I actually don't have my sig rig yet, I'm going to order it anyday now, so yeah sorry redface.gif However, I will say that 6970s perform on par with GTX 580s in SLI, with more vram and for about $300 less. If I were you, I would go for them, that's my thoughts on it

Well, I JUST picked it up this week. So I might return and wait for the 7850's. That could be fun.
