How difficult would it be to move the Num Pad red switches to the Esc F1-F4 keys?

Essentially impossible.

Hopefully Corsair will listen to customer feedback on their new keyboards and make the next revision fully mechanical. In addition, I'd suggest reducing the number of macro buttons, and moving the tenkey pad over to the left, or going tenkeyless. Once I tried tenkeyless for gaming, I can't go back to a full size board. Tenkeyless is far too ergonomical and comfortable.

So the F keys and such being domes is a cost cutting measure?

I kinda see the reasoning, but I don't buy that that was the primary reason for it.

According to them it wasn't, and from what I read I guess it would make production cost more expensive. I guess we'll find out if they release a fully mechanical board and charge more for it.

I mean they could of used cherry mx black switches so it gave it a bit more consistent feel. But there reasoning for not using those is they can tune the silicone dome keys to have an actuation force of what they want I guess.
