There's going to be the new nVidia Kepler series coming out sometime next year. I suggest you wait until those come out but it might be a while longer when the good Kepler ones release. (GTX670/680)

You could always try to overclock your video card. thumb.gif

In a few months there will be the 6 series

But you would be better of getting a 2nd 570

Thats what I will be doing unless the 6 series cards are extra great...

If there is ever a 670 card i think it will be about equivalent of todays 580s.

Nvidia has TMSC building their 28nm Kepler chips right now. Its taking awhile because its an entirely new manufacturing process. You should be seeing them in Q1/Q2 2012.

People tend to underestimate a die shrink, especially since its two die shrinks being done. The performance increase should be phenomenal thumb.gif

Yeah or it could be another bulldozer lol Im sure its not but thats why I wont wait for anything unless its official from the horses mouth on a release date, I would sli the 570 unless you feel you can wait more year because reality is it might actually take that long, they have already had a few delays which shows it hasnt been easy

Your best option IMO will be to wait for AMD to put out their 7000 series line which starts to come out in February. AMD 7850 & 7870 in December. AMD 7950 & 7970 in January.

Nvidia is going to be late out of the gate with 600 series and not slated until late February early March. However to compete with AMD's launch they will be having huge slash in pricing down the entire line with the highes priced being the GTX 580 for $380 before MIR!

Nvidia is planning to offer Exclusive discount sale for this Christmas.

You'll pick up a great deal for another GTX 570 and the most performance route would be to SLI it as opposed to upgrading to one new sereies GPU from either camp. Most bang for your buck.

I'm sure your doing fine in games right now. So hang on for another month and you'll be gald you did. smile.gif You can reacess your situation then.

My GTX 570 is going to have one year too now but i'm "upgrading" to a GTX 580 Lightning because someone wants my 570 right now for same price as new biggrin.gif (my country suck at prices so i'm getting a really good deal tongue.gif)

So i think i will get the 580 and skip de series 600 and jump to Maxwell when released. Anyway maybe the 600 series will be like faildozer or will be really good, i don't care, because even with my 570 i can play almost every game on very high settings without a problem, lets be honest, there are too many console ports this days and nothing new to push our cards (talking about 570-580 owners) exept for BF3 and Crysis 2 or Metro 2033.
