Ah, well the Prime95 program ran all night last night (from 9PM to 7AM) and all the cores stayed between 51'C - 53'C

I'm going to suggest some quick reads to give you a better idea of what you want to do to get a complete overclock instead of just a cpu overclock....you'll gain much better overall performance....these where written by a respected member of OCN who definatly knows a thing or 2 about overclocking wink.gif

I ran the small FFT's like you had said to do.

Nice, that means you had fully stable overclock.

3.2ghz - 3.6ghz would give you a nice boost in performance. now go for 3.8ghz. your chip can go upto 4ghz but with your current coolign I'd say shoot for 3.8ghz and be happy. try upping the multiplier again and set it to 3.8ghz. vcore should be about 1.4-1.425v. what's your current vcore?

1.428 according to CPU-Z

Also, should I disable Cool 'n' Quiet? I saw that in a different thread but don't know if that is actually something smart to do...

yep disable it. they say it causes some stability issues with overclocks. I always had them disabled along with C1E. also disable the SMART fan on your bios so your fans will always be at max speeds

try bumping it to 1.45v then try 3.8ghz. do a quick prime run and see if it shows some stability
