Hard shut-off damage my computer?

Thread Starter
Not sure if this is the correct thread, but I was wondering will a hard shut-off damage any of my computer components?

Reason I am asking is because I tend to get a lot of black-outs where I live.

Unless you get a blackout whilst you are say, flashing your BIOS, I think it is unlikely you will damage your hardware from hard shut downs, as long as you're not flicking it on and off like a lightswitch! biggrin.gif
