They are already gouging in terms of Hard drive price and Seagate isn't the only one. Western Digital is as well. The price of 3TB hard-drive's skyrocketed after the flooding and along with all the other hard drive's. Even the 1TB 7200.12 Sata III are close to $150 CAD.

They are not "gouging." They have a limited supply of drives so they will sell them for a higher price.

Now if they had tripled or quadrupled prices before the flood and before there was a reason for a reduced supply, that would have been gouging.
