Which of these can play games better?

Thread Starter
I'm getting a new laptop.
One has this setup: AMD Dual-Core A4-3300M Accelerated Processor with AMD Radeon HD 6480G discrete-class graphics, and the other one
has this setup: Intel® HD with Intel® 2nd Generation Core™ i3.

Which one is better? Is there a huge difference? g.php

For gaming you want a dedicated GPU. The CPU in the intel one is better, but the GPU will prove itself when gaming.

I use a i3, but gaming the AMD will win.
i3, as stated, is a better performing CPU.

Depends what you wanna do, also I heard the AMD one runs warmer and uses more power, it should be taken in consideration if you plan on using on battery.

Yup, I agree. The dedicated GPU will give you a lot better performance than integrated graphics ever will.

llano is definitely better in gaming. it's like pairing a i3 2100 with a 9500gt vs. phenom II x2 with a 9800gt.(just an exanple) obviously the latter will be better because.intel onboard graphics suck

llano dual core is more than capable. who number crunches on laptops anyways. it's more than enough to handle any work you may do with a laptop. afaik they're as power efficient if not better than its intel counter part

The AMD one has some sort of GPU in it, so go for that.

Out of those two options, the AMD will be the better rig. It's integrated GPU is much better than the i3's.
