1100t 3.3 stock
990 xfa ud7
16 gigs corsair vengeance 88824 1600 mhz
msi lightning extreme 580 3 gb model
ocz 60 gig vertex 3
950 corsair txw?
9900 max zalman
xp64 yes i know old school but i like xp a lot more then vista or 7

upgraded from an old 754 3200+ msi board with a 6200gt agp i said screw it got the best possible

im new to overclocking and trying really hard to understand all the new terms

using the amd overdrive utility has been helping a lot however a few questions still persist
first issue my vdda25 core is suppose to be 2.5 volts it shows -5.180 ???
second issue the fan control dont seem to be working on manual control option
third issue it keeps resetting my pcie to 60 mhz

what is the vdda25 core? my google fu is failing me

if i lowered my ram to 1333 with same cas then bumped up the reference that could bring my ram back up to 1600 still being stable ?

the turbo core is 3 cores at 3.7 at 1.45 and stock is 3.3 @ 1.325 im assuming thats a very stable amd clock. so far im up to 3.8 @ 1.35
42 idle 54c loaded

im hoping to hit 4.0 call that perfectly fine.

does it really matter if everything is 200 1000 2000 or is like 207 1035 2070 acceptable ? if that makes sense?

thankyou

this guide should help get you started. if you want to get the highest possible overclock, it will be much more stable with turbo core and cool and quiet disabled (but will use more power). the numbers dont have to be perfectly round numbers, just tweak one thing at a time so if you get unstable, you know what you changed and can undo it easily. fsb 240 at 1:3 ram will get you 1600. (i recommend starting with the timings and ram speed at whatever your manufacturer's settings are to ensure the most stability). good luck, and welcome to ocn!
