G400 not for me

Thread Starter
Today i was at staples and i found out that my G400 that i use right now is not for me. So i was wondering if there are any good mice that have a Puretrak Valor like shape. Just want a bunch of recommendations, also wouldn't mind if anyone would want to trade mice smile.gif

I'm guessing you like the G400/Valor shape so what's wrong with the G400? Prediction?

You may want to give the Deathadder a look.

I've got a StarCraft 2 Spectre mouse.

Think I still have my DeathAdder laying around here somewhere. PM me for more details.

Also, I'll second the DeathAdder or maybe a Mamba.

I remember someone making a comparison between the shape of the Puretrak and Gigabyte mice when the first photos came out of the Puretrak. Might be worth looking into Gigabyte mice if you're looking for a shape similar to the Valor.

Whipped this up:

Thats the Gigabyte M6880 on the left.

The Gigabyte mice use a Pixart and Avago ADNS-6010/6090/9500 sensors, the only sensor I recognize is in the M8000X and its the Avago ADNS-9500. I'm not sure what the difference is between the Avago ADNS-9500 (used in many cheaper gaming mice and notably the Roccat Kave+) and the ADNS-S9500 (used in the G500/G700/G9X and ANDS-A9500 (used in the Steelseries Sensei/Xai)

Looks pretty sweet! Is it still a similar enough shape to the Valor?
