Yes I am for real! The exact same thing has happened to me and I usually have to restart the game to get it to go away. A good amount of people here, including myself believe the game has a memory leak. I'm hoping it gets addressed in the upcoming patch. Either way a GTX570 with 1280MB of video ram will struggle to run AA in this game. Most of the new DX11 games are very Video Ram intensive and it's only going to get worse. (Although with the amount of console ports these days not every game will be that way.)

Well I just removed my CPU overclock and it's still happening so I have no idea what the problem is.

I agree with you 100%, I have 2 ATI 6970's with 2Gig of VRAM each, and after playing for more than about 45 minutes, I start to see tearing and streaking, I have found thru trial & error, to exit out to the browser and wait say 5 minutes and than I can go back in and go for another 45 minutes...

Using MSI afterburner I see my VRAM go from 1.3Gig when I start to about 1.85Gig and that is when the tearing & streaking starts... I am using a different card and driver most current and have had this problem since the Alpha thru the Beta and to this day...

It must be a VRAM leak or stubbing that just takes up VRAM and sits there causing this...

That's crazy that it would happen with 2x 6970 2gb cards. There is definitely a memory leak issue going on there. I've also heard that they haven't quite worked out crossfire drivers for bf3 yet.

Just tried the 285.38 drivers (the ones meant for the BF3 beta) and they work fine, the problem doesn't occur. Very strange.
