well i have no plans to overclock. and it seems to only hit 50c during long gaming sessions. i guess i'll try some better tim and see what i get. i guess if im not happy ,ill rma it.

Better chime in here. My temps run about 1-2c apart on the 2500k, 26-28c idle during this winter. Lots of potential variables here but more than likely it's how the cooler is mounted.

50c is very good temps on air as well.
