Video cards with "Sync on green" support? ... or is it the TV that needs it?

Right now, and I have a gtx560ti, which doesn't. Now I have another question, is it the tv or video card that needs to have "SOG" support? I'm reading talk about both. The reason I need this is because I have a Sony 720p DLP that doesn't have hdmi inputs. I would like to use it as a second monitor for movies, but I can't get my GPU to recognize it.

Is the issue with the tv or the video card not SOG'ing?

This has to be a requirement of the Sony DLP. It needs the Sync signal to be combined with the Green colour signal. And as your GTX560 Ti is not sending such a signal, the Sony DLP will not show a visual. As such, the GTX560 Ti is not detecting a monitor that feeds on its signal.

Simply put, you will need an adapter/converter.

What are the inputs of the Sony DLP? Can you upload a pic of them? Or, give a link to that specific model. These info will help to diagnose the problem deeper.
