Well, am open to your suggestions and comments regarding my rig.

Hiya!
And welcome to the club! Your board looks very similar to mine, and I noted on the ASUS website it only supports 95W CPU's the same as my board. Both look like a 3+1 phase design. May I suggest you pop some RAM heatsinks on your MOSFETs, As this may prolong, or even save your board. I never had any issues when I overclocked without the heatsinks, but I think it is a good idea, cos my MOSFETs can run up to 60C WITH the heatsinks under load.

Anyway, congrats on your overclock. You should maybe try pushing it up to 250Mhz FSB and see what happens. If it goes unstable, try notching the HT link/NB multipliers back to 9 and see if that stabilises it. I might just give you that little bit more. smile.gif

Thanks Lesley! For now i don't wanna try pushing it up to 250mhz or higher, because as what you've said it may get unstable, though i don't intend to put some ram heatsinks on my MOSFETs, because i'll change my board soon, right now i am in need of a branded PSU and a Gaming Ram. smile.gif
Once i change my rig setup i'll let you guys know. smile.gif

Just a quick question... How does one know about Mobo VRM temps?

Planning to change my Mobo tomorrow to something that can support 125W CPU... Going to unlock my Phenom II x2 550 BE 'til then. I want to check if the VRM temps are okay after I unlock them else I'd revert them back to Phenom II x2 if it gets not good.

Also, what heatsinks do you use on the VRM/Mosfets in the mobo to keep it cool.. Thanks.

Refer to the link "about VRMs and MOSFETs" in my sig. That should help answer your questions thumb.gif

As for the heatsinks, you might wanna take a look at these - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835708011

Guys, good day...

Has anyone tried unlocking using Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P board. I just purchased this board and I know that my proc can be unlocked but I don't know how to do it in this motherboard. I've read some people are able to successfully unlock using this board. frown.gif

You can unlock the cores using the "Advanced Clock Calibration" option in the BIOS.
