I forgot to mention, the BIOS didn't have any ACC option; only Core unlock... was unable to unlock core using this feature as it wouldn't boot up. Had to go through Gigabyte Easy Tune 6 to unlock core and disabling one for stability. Anyway, I've done Prime95 for 1hour + now and it seems pretty stable at tri-core. Not as good as 4 cores but it's still good enough for me smile.gif

Will post pics later smile.gif

guys, i need your suggestions what ram should i buy this one vengeance 8gb http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz8gx3m2a1600c9.html
or the vengeance 8gb LP http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product-family/vengeance/vengeance-low-profile-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cml8gx3m2a1600c9.html

what's the difference? as far as what i've read the only difference is the low profile heat spreader which is better for the bigger cpu coolers, i am planning to buy also a hyper 212 so should i get the low profile? can i overclock the low profile ram too?

thanks!

At the same price, I would get the RAM with the heat spreaders.

As for cooling, I'm using the 212+ on my Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.9 GHz and it barely touches 60 C.

Case and point, I highly recommend the 212+

Really, by how much? I'm currently running my 212+ which is 2 years old with AS5 and 2 Medium Speed Yate Loons. It's dead quiet and cools nicely.

Only thing is the 155 mm height of the cooler.

If you have a 120 mm exhaust fan on the back beside your I/O panel, you should be able to fir it no problem.

If you only have a 92 mm exhaust fan though, you'll run into the problem I did on my In-Win Griffin Case, the fin all fit withing the case, but I had to cut 8 holes for the ends of the heat-pipes.

they both have heat spreaders the only thing is the vengeance which is not low profile has a bigger heat spreaders w/c might cause problems whenever i purchase a hyper 212. Try searching for my case it's only a GMC CORONA.
