Pfft, it was only on page 17, haha.

This is page 4 for me... It's actually part way up this page... My scolling finger is lazy though, working on 4000+ lines of VBA code in Excel for work right now...

Welcome to OCN and the club thumb.gif

Yeah. I don't know how on the dot it is, because I am aware that when a core is unlocked the temps either read off, or they will not read at all, or just read random constants... I'm not really worried about the temp, I've been running prime95 since before I posted last night, I've overclocked it to 3.7 stable since then too, and I'm now also running EVE and various other things with Prime95 still going(12 hours now?) , and it's at 61C. Still, idk how on the dot these temps are, but if that's how your stock hs performs with your overclocking I'm not worried about my current TX2 doing the job, no matter what the erroneous CPU temp readings may be.

My B55 (unlocked 555BE) with all 4 cores at 4.0:

519

I could run lower VCore with Cool-n-Quiet disabled, but I wanted that enabled since this PC idles alot. She idles at 900MHz/1.09V.

I put my processor back to 3 cores @ 3.7, 1.4ish VCore(Same as when I clocked the 4 cores to 3.7), it seems that when idling or under full load(prime95) the CPUtin temp seems to be consistently +/- 15 degrees above the core temperatures, usually exactly 15 though, once load and temps have steadied. On 3 cores my cores read 40C, which is a much more comfortable max. Given, once I unlock the 4th core again it will run a little hotter, it still is a very healthy temp imo.

Anyhow as I was posting this my Hyper 212 arrived, yay

How strange. I guess maybe I mounted it with the X that goes between the pipes in the wrong position. At the time, I couldn't rotate it to mount it to blow from the RAM to the rear of the case. Thanks for correcting me. biggrin.gif

Running Fans at 8 V I get load temps of 52 C on Socket

450

Not bad for a non-modular PSU rolleyes.gif

And temps:

That's a tidy setup, esp for non modular. My modular PSU's messier - though I must say I haven't went daft on asthetics. Hmm, maybe I should, and try and get more airflow.

Anyway, It's Nice, and well done.

News on my front - I haz been tweaking biggrin.gif - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2234709

Got to 3.9Ghz, but damned if I can get 4Ghz stable. It BSOD's after a few minutes of prime95. I get 0x124 - which from what I read means "MOAR VOLTS!" ( wink.gif ) But I'm kinda reluctant, as i'm already set at 1.45625V in the BIOS, and on Prime full load, my temps are getting near 55C which is about my limit I think. (The chip used to thermal throttle with stock cooling at that temp.) Also my boards only designed for 95W so I think I'm already pushing things.

Any thoughts?

Kind regards

Lesley x

PS thanks to the OCer's on here for some brilliant advice guides on OCN. They've helped me no end!.smile.gif
