You should feel how cold my desktop makes my hands. Could actually do with gloves since I have a side case fan pulling air in, for then going through the push/pull of my H60.

heres my 455 unlocked to a b55, its based off of the propus so it is actually a athlon x4, waiting till I get a better mobo to overclock it, its 4th core stable at stock voltage as well.

I used the same volts (1.48 to 1.49) that got me to 4GHz as quad, and left it as a dual, and wound it up a bit more. That got me 21*200Mhz for 4.2 Ghz. This thing seems a little more snappy with a simple BCLK overclock, perhaps dropping memory speed a tad and improved timings does that smile.gif
These G-Skills are 9-9-9-25-40-2T at 800Mhz (XMP-1600/PC12800) but run nicely at 7-7-7-20-27-1T at 675Mhz (overclocked PC10600).

So I find that running 237 x 16 is the best for a 24/7. 3792mhz @ 1.425v - Used PhenomMsrTweaker to change all the P-states on the processor.

P-States as follows:

P0: 16x Multi @ 1.425v = 3792mhz
P1: 12x Multi @ 1.25v = 2844mhz
P2: 8x Multi @ 1.08v = 1896mhz
P3: 4x Multi @ 0.975v = 948mhz

No bluescreens so I could probably still lower the voltages a bit more, but am very happy with the power usage / temps at this point.

Still no bottleneck on my GTX 560 Ti, CPU @ 78% / GPU @ 99%.

Couldn't be happier with this CPU / Board. The 8+1 phase is great and with Microcenter deals, the cpu / mobo combo cost me $120.

Hope everyone else has great luck with this chip as I have had. Can't wait till I can get my hands on some real equipment.

Jimmy'd the fan off my old stock Intel HSF and attached it over the VRMs.

Just on my stock cooler with the core unlocked, i was idleing at 34c and with prime going it was at about 60-62c
