Eyefinity help!!!

I have an Asus VE247h. I want to buy a couple more for eyefinity, but I am not aware of the needed cables and other devices. My video cards are 3 Radeon HD Sapphire 6950 toxics (unlocked) in trifire. Can someone tell me what else I need?

the new monitors will come with DVI cables but you do need a true DVI-D cable and a active display port adapter like one from sapphire for about 30 bucks which will plug into your mini display port adapter that should of come with your motherboard. I got mine from Tiger Direct for 27. Some say you need to spend 100 or more on a powered version but most have found that this is not needed. You will run all the cables off of one card only. The DVI-D cable will plug into the display port adapter which then plugs into your video cards display port. Then run the normal DVI cables that cam with the other 2 monitors. It is pretty easy. I have 3 ASUS monitors as well. Also go to youtube and search for eyefinity setup. there are a bunch of vids

But if you bought a good mobo it should of come with a display port adapter so then you just buy the active display port adpater in the 2nd link

Ok, thanks for the help biggrin.gif ... Oh yeah, what kind of frames per second are you getting using eyefinity with 2 6970s? (in general)

honestly they are not enough to run BF3 maxed with 4x MSAA and HBAO on. MAybe this patch tomorrow will help with how it uses memory because it causes crashes when I try to turn them both on and have to restart. WIthout those on and everything else maxed I get around 50-60fps on certain maps and 40-50 on ones like Caspian boarder. In Black ops I get over 100 at times same with MW3. The res is 5760x1080 no bezel correction or else it gets over 6000x1080.

I get pretty good FPS with bezel correction at 6048x1200. Also using 1 sapphire active DP adapter, $20 when I got it, and 2 standard DVI cables.
