Corsair TX650 560TI SLI?

Thread Starter
Is a TX650 suitable enough to run two 560tis SLI, with a 1090T Over clocked to 3.75GHz (for now, soon to get a crosshair V or gigabyte ud7) multiple fans, corsair H50 cooler.

Yeah, you should be good. I wouldn't go Tri-SLI though, that would be too much. SLI should be fine though.

Easy, you'll be good to go! wink.gif

Phew thank you, was hoping i didn't have to invest another $150+ in a power supply! Already going to cost nearly $500 lol

Really wish i knew a little more about components before i had this PC built, didn't realize how low grade a lot of stuff was, spent nearly $1000 on the initial build and have already need differnet ram, (original rip jaw 8GB to Mushkin enhanced redline. Now a new MOBO to do SLI.

It will work fine in any real life applications. However my TX 650w does crap out when trying to run FurMark (A GPU stress test program that works well with SLI setups). I'm using 2x GTX 460s and my CPU overclock is minimal.

I'm using a Kill A Watt meter and is does seem like like power draw is is the cause of the crash.

High-five for almost identical systems!

I doubt it, I have an XFX XXX 650W (80+ Bronze) and it runs a i5 760 at 3.8 GHz and two mildly overclocked GTX 460's with full furmark stability.. (but insane furmark heat)

I just went and looked and the GTX560 uses about 170 Watts!
So two would be 340 Watts! That from 650 gives you 310 Watts for the rest of your Rig smile.gif

My two cards can draw up to 286 Watts each! so two times 286 is 572 Watts, that from 850 (my psu) = 278 Watts left for the rest of my system!

So yeah, you'll have more overhead Watts left than I have thumb.gif
