A quality 500/550w PSu would do the job well, here's a couple I can think of:

Antec TP New 550
XFX Core/PRO series 550
Antec HCG 520
Antec NeoECO 520

If you plan on going SLI in the near future, you would need an 750w atleast.

more than enough power smile.gif

Here's a review of the 570 that was done not so long ago by legitreviews. Using furmark (which can generate an extra load wattage of around 50-100w - unrealistic scenario) The load wattage at the wall was 340 while running furmark and 266 while on a gaming loop. Assuming 85% PSU efficieny the actual power drawn running furmark would be 289w and while gaming would be 226w, so much less. Adding an additional 100-150w for the rest of the system including cpu load, the load wattage that the rig would pull from the psu would be around 350-400w while gaming. Therefore a quality 550w is more than enough for a single gpu system.

Hope that helps clear things up.

Single rail is not necessarily better or worse than multi-rail (FYI).

A 500W to 600W PSU is what you would need. Make sure you get a good model one on the Overclock.net recommended PSU list since those are high quality models. Lower quality PSU may not deliver the rated wattage/specs.

For 570 2-way SLI, a 750W to 800W PSU is what you would need.

altho single is no better, isnt it easyer to balance the load on a single, as on multi rail psu you can overload a rail where as single you can just add parts where ever and up to the limits of your psu.

i would say get any mid to high end corsair psu.

or

if you have the money get a seasonic.

Newer multi-rail PSUs don't have that problem anymore. They used to put the GPU and CPU cables on the same rail so it would trip the OCP. Current PSUs have the rails more evenly distributed so you won't hit the OCP unless something is wrong (like a short).
