HX-650 for 2x7970s

What do you reckon? The max power consumption is thought to be 190W at the moment, lower than both the 6950 (200) and 6970 (250). The 12v rail is good for 52amps. I've read it's reliable and it's performance is excellent, do you reckon it would be safe?

I don't plan to bench, fold or overclock them, it's basically going to be games, and web surfing. I could always settle for 7950s (150W max) instead I suppose.

If those specs end up being right for the 7970 then you will be fine with no OC etc.

380w for GPU's leaves you more then enough headroom for the rest of your components. I don't know what your running but I'm sure it isn't chewing up 270w...

The HX650 is an old unit.. no reason to buy a new one now unless you get some insane rebate...
