Skyrim: Breeze Home bed oddities - Page 2

I very rarely actually get the well rested message but if I check Active Effects and it's there.

The owned bed belongs to Lydia (if she is alive) or any of your other currently hired arms to assist you in battle. If Lydia is has just disappeared, the "owned bed" is a sign that she is still alive and will return at somepoint.

Lydia died, I didn't hire anyone but I do have someone who's following me around for free. So I told her to piss off but the bed was still (owned).
So why's that? no lydia, no escorts. I believe your explanation of the bed belonging to a companion is wrong based on the above.

For me, Lydia never sleeps in that bed. If I don't explicitly give any orders she sits on a chair in the main bedroom. Must be a bug.

She wants to watch you sleep, you should feel grateful for her protection.

Could be that it's simply "owned" for your current and future companions and it never changes.

Too bad you can't just make bunk beds, would leave way more space to do activities in the Breeze home...

I only own one home, the one in Solitude. I haven't seen anything restricted in that one, though I think it's only got 1 master bed and a tarp in the basement. Great way to spend 25k and have 0 for upgrades haha.

What does the well rested bonus gives? I don't think I've actually ever slept in the game as of yet. I"m lvl 17...

I didn't know there was a bonus and I've played for 40 hours...

I just use the Wait function... because that is much more convenient...
