Intel DZ68BC Motherboard and Corsair H100

Thread Starter
I am interested in this motherboard but need to be sure my H100 will fit. Has anyone mounted a corsair H100 onto an Intel DZ68BC motherboard? It does look like capacitors could block the H100 but it is hard to determine from pictures.

Also wondering about the overclocking features, can't find any info on the Intel overclocking assistant. Does anyone have experience with this mobo?.

According to this:

The socket is 1155 and supported by H100. I think it'll be okay, but see below.

It will work on your board, but the bigger question is will it fit in your case. I think you'll be fine with the H100 fitting on the CPU, but Corsair has great customer service and will help you in finding a solution if there's a problem.

I am using the intel DZ68bc board with a 2500k, an H100 cooler and an R500 case. I easily overclocked an ran Intel Burntest maxed. My temps were just under 60C. Really impressed with the H100 and the Intel board.

I just got my DZ68BC last week (upgraded from my previous Intel DP67BG) and I am using it with a CoolIt Vantage. My temps are much higher than they were with the DP67BG. I have remounted the Vantage twice now and still getting higher temps than before. I was wondering if it's because of the fact that I am now using the HD Graphics on my 2500K? Previously I was using my GTS 250 but I am only using the 2500K for graphics. Anyway I also looking to get a different CPU water cooler. What do you guys recommend?
